VC3C: Special Event Station

Over June and July listen for the special event station VC3C. This special event is celebrating the early European explorer Samuel de Champlain and his work in the founding of Quebec City and Canada 400 years ago. Champlain explored the Ottawa River and there is a trail named after him. The VC3C special event follows and operates from the trail over weekends in June and July. The organizer is Maurice-Andre, VE3VIG, and there is involvement from amateur radio clubs in locations along the trail.

    Thanks for the great mention of The Champlain Trail VC3C special event.
    During the end of month June break, we are also on the air for Field Day and for Canada Day contest. We have been cleared by the City for operating on Green Island,
    top of Rideau Falls, on Saturday,July 26.
