Above is a screenshot of baudline with the QRSS signal of Johan ON5EX/OP5X received on my K3 during New Year’s Eve. If you look carefully you will see the mirrored image of “OP5X” and “HNY” written on the screen (read from top to bottom).  In an e-mail Johan reports using

Power: 100 mW on single carrier

Using a distance calculator I determined the 100mW signal had traveled about 3500 miles.  I will leave you to calculate the miles per Watt!

To help you further see the transmitted signal I have cropped the area and flipped the image (see below).

Well done Johan! It is quite amazing what QRSS can achieve.
